Create an Account

Getting started with Babelize takes less than two minutes. This guide walks you through the account creation process.

Sign Up Options

Babelize offers two ways to create an account:

Email Sign-Up

1. Navigate to babelize.app/sign-up
2. Enter your email address
3. Check your inbox for a verification code
4. Enter the 6-digit code to verify your email
5. Set your display name (used in collaborated projects)

OAuth Sign-Up

For faster onboarding, sign up with an existing account:

1. Navigate to babelize.app/sign-up
2. Click Continue with Google or Continue with Apple
3. Authorize Babelize to access your basic profile information
4. Your account is created automatically using your OAuth profile

After Sign-Up

Once your account is created, you'll see the dashboard. Before translating, you may want to:

1. Choose a Plan

New accounts start on the Free plan with limited credits. View available plans at Billing & Plans.

2. Create a Project

Projects organize your translations and glossaries. Click New Project from the dashboard to create one.

Verification Status

Your account verification level affects available features:

Security Notes

• Babelize uses passwordless authentication via email OTP or OAuth
• Sessions expire after 7 days of inactivity
• You can view active sessions in Settings → Security
• Enable additional security measures for organization accounts

Troubleshooting Sign-Up

Not receiving verification email?

1. Check your spam folder
2. Verify the email address is correct
3. Wait 2 minutes before requesting a new code
4. Contact support if issues persist

OAuth sign-in failing?

1. Ensure pop-ups are not blocked
2. Try a different browser
3. Verify your OAuth provider account is active
