Dashboard Overview

Navigate the Babelize dashboard and understand all available features and controls.

Dashboard Overview

The Babelize dashboard is your central hub for managing translations, projects, and account settings. This guide explains each section and its purpose.

Dashboard Layout

The dashboard is organized into these main areas:

Located on the left, the sidebar provides access to:

  • Home: Dashboard overview and recent activity
  • Projects: All your translation projects
  • Usage: Credit consumption and analytics
  • Settings: Account and API configuration
  • Help: Documentation and support links

Main Content Area

The center displays context-sensitive content based on your current view. On the home screen, you'll see:

  • Quick actions for common tasks
  • Recent projects
  • Usage summary
  • System status notifications

Header Bar

The top bar includes:

  • Search functionality
  • Notification center
  • Account menu
  • Theme toggle (light/dark mode)

Home View

The home view provides at-a-glance information:

Quick Actions

One-click access to common tasks:

  • New Project: Create a new translation project
  • Upload File: Start a new translation

Recent Projects

Shows your 5 most recently updated projects with:

  • Project name
  • Last activity timestamp
  • Language pair summary
  • Quick access link

Usage Summary

Displays your current billing period:

  • Credits used / Credits available
  • Days remaining in period
  • Usage trend indicator

Projects View

The projects list shows all your translation projects:

Project Card Information

Each project card displays:

  • Project name and description
  • Source language
  • Target languages (with count)
  • Total translations
  • Last updated timestamp
  • Storage usage

Project Actions

From the project list, you can:

  • Open: View project details and translations
  • Settings: Configure project-specific options
  • Archive: Move to archived projects
  • Delete: Permanently remove (with confirmation)

Filtering and Sorting

Organize your projects by:

  • Name (A-Z, Z-A)
  • Last updated
  • Most translations
  • Source language

Project Detail View

Inside a project, you'll find:

Translation History

A list of all translations in the project with:

  • File name
  • Translation date
  • Status (completed, processing, failed)
  • Character count
  • Actions (view, download, delete)

Glossary Tab

Manage project-specific terminology:

  • Add new terms
  • Import/export glossary
  • View usage statistics

Settings Tab

Project-specific configuration:

  • Rename project
  • Modify languages
  • Set default options
  • Team access (if applicable)

Usage View

The usage page provides detailed analytics:

Current Period

  • Credits consumed
  • Credits remaining
  • Reset date
  • Upgrade options

Historical Data

  • Usage by day/week/month chart
  • Top projects by usage
  • Language pair breakdown

Export

Download usage reports in CSV format for accounting or analysis.

Settings View

Account configuration organized by category:

Profile

  • Display name
  • Email address
  • Timezone preference

Security

  • Active sessions

  • Login history

  • Two-factor authentication (coming soon)

  • Generate new keys

  • View existing keys (masked)

  • Revoke keys

  • Set key permissions

System Status

The dashboard displays system status in the header:

  • Operational: All systems functioning normally
  • Degraded: Performance may be affected
