Usage Limits

Babelize enforces various limits to ensure fair usage and platform stability. This guide explains all limits and how to work within them.

Credit Limits

Credits measure translation volume based on source characters.

Credit Consumption

Credits are consumed when:

  • Translation job completes successfully
  • Each target language counts separately

Credits are not consumed when:

  • Job fails due to an error
  • Job is canceled before completion
  • Previewing translation results

Credit Reset

Credits reset at the start of each billing cycle. Unused credits do not carry over.

Rate Limits

Rate limits protect against abuse and ensure availability for all users. The dashboard has limits on uploads and downloads to prevent system overload.
