How long Babelize retains your data.
This document explains how long Babelize retains different types of data.
Retention Summary

| Translation results | Indefinite (while project exists) |

| Source code snapshots | Deleted after processing |
Translation Data
Source Code
Source code is cloned temporarily during translation:
- Exists only during processing
- Not permanently stored
- Deleted after translation completes
Translation Results
Generated translation files are retained while your project is active. They are deleted when you delete the project.
Account Data

Logs

| Audit logs | 90 days |
| Error logs | 30 days |
Backups
- Automatic daily backups
- 30-day backup retention
- Encrypted at rest
- Geographic redundancy
Deletion
When data is deleted:
- Immediately — removed from active systems
- 24 hours — removed from caches
- 30 days — removed from backups
